OPEN UP SICILY WITH AVERNA<\/strong><\/p>\n

Packaging design and brand identity project for Averna Amaro Siciliano, aimed at evolving its identity while respecting the brand heritage, defining a distinctive and recognisable territory and standing out from the competitive landscape of the amaro category. Building an authentic, vibrant identity that conveys the values of warm conviviality and the contemporary Sicilian lifestyle had to enable the development of a coherent and powerful brand asset ecosystem, drawing on the brand\u2019s rich heritage and origins.
\nThe label, designed as a typical Caltagirone majolica tile, artistically captures the juxtaposition of heritage and modernity, calm and colour, at the heart of Averna\u2019s deep-rooted \u201cSicilian Character\u201d.
\nThe design elements applied to the label effectively add further tiles to the mosaic. These include its year of foundation, 1868, its Mediterranean aromatic ingredients and the iconic symbol of the \u201ctrinacria\u201d, the original name given to Sicily by the Romans, inspired by the shape of the island they were exploring.
\nWhen you open a bottle of Averna, you open the modern and vibrant world of Sicily: Open Sicily. A completely new way that makes Averna the true icon of the authentic Sicilian lifestyle.
\nA set of majolica tiles, each capturing an aspect of the multifaceted culture, nature, taste and character of Trinacria, expressed in a unique style no one had ever used before, as contemporary as it is authentic. Each tile carries its own independent meaning, while used together they combine into endless creative solutions, just like the vibrant Sicilian kaleidoscope.<\/p>\n

AVERNA TRIBUTO SICILIANO<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sicily is a land of strong contrasts and vivid colors, a place where modernity and tradition blend with incredible vitality and cultural wealth. It is here that Amaro Averna was born in 1868, from the Benedictine monks of the Abbey of Santo Spirito in Caltanissetta.
\nWith the aim of enhancing the key elements of Averna Don Salvatore while keeping a keen eye on Sicilian authenticity, the RISERVA TRIBUTO SICILIANO project was born: a collection of bottles dedicated to Sicily. Averna celebrates the authentic Sicilian soul with this special edition of its finest amaro, aged for 18 months in oak barrels. A kaleidoscope of flavours, colours, art and craftsmanship, as only Sicily can offer.
\nRBA Design developed the packaging for the new limited edition of the Riserva product. The bottles were created with a multi-subject solution, defining a total range of five different labels depicting the majolica tiles at the heart of Averna\u2019s brand identity, a clear and immediate expression of Sicilian art.
\nWith the launch of RISERVA TRIBUTO SICILIANO, Averna strengthens its ties with its home region, Sicily, through projects of value for the territory and the Sicilians. Thus, in 2022, the partnership with Farm Cultural Park was born, one of the most vibrant and innovative cultural entities in our country, known worldwide for transforming the dilapidated historic center of Favara, a small town in the province of Agrigento, into a cultural and artistic attraction that attracts thousands of visitors every year.
\nFor every bottle produced of RISERVA TRIBUTO SICILIANO, Averna will make a donation to support the cultural projects and initiatives of Farm Cultural Park in 2023.
