A brand identity to be savored: RBA Design wins the Mediastars award for the restyling of Findus Fish Bar
A group of old friends, a beachside bar, the breeze of a calm summer evening and the unmistakable scent of fish: can a brand convey all of this through its packaging? For us at RBA, the answer is “nothing is impossible” – and the confirmation came in the form of a packaging redesign project for the Capitan Fish Bar line Findus.
After meticulous strategic and brand architecture work, our team created a new packaging identity designed to enhance the deliciousness of the products and, at the same time, offer easy, friendly, and relaxed consumption moments – from finger food for an impromptu aperitif to a tasty starter to open an informal dinner.
The result? A simple, contemporary pack that aims to convey immediacy and a desire to enjoy something delicious within the context of everyday life – expressed on the pack through the inclusion of the wooden table and the basket. Furthermore, the redesign of the Fish Bar logo maintains all the iconicity of the Capitan character – Findus a strong point of connection between the brand and its consumers – while adding a visual reference that deliberately recalls the sign of a fish restaurant.
These colorful, modern and impactful packs attract the consumer from the very sight of the shelves, and almost act as an invitation to sit down and calmly enjoy all the new offerings of the Fish Bar line.
The project not only received excellent feedback from the client, but also allowed the agency to win the first prize in the Restyling category at the twenty-ninth edition of Mediastars. This is a significant confirmation of RBA’s expertise in packaging design, which has been meeting the needs of leading brands in the industry for 30 years now, such as Findus.
Well done, RBA team!
